Bits & bobs
Here's a space where you will find "bits & bobs." From experimental design, playing with lighting and textures. Snapshots from learning new tools and techniques. It's a space for play and artistic freedom.
Software used so far: Cinema4d, Redshift, Blender, DaVinci Reslove.
Here, I explored working with volume shaders in Blender. I wanted to experiment with colour as it scanned through the model, with the purpose of developing my knowledge of shaders and improving my post-production colour grading in DaVinci Resolve.
Here’s a very early simulation test that didn’t quite go to plan. With some trial and error, I managed to get the toothbrush head to land on the body, but in the end, I decided to take the animation in a different direction.
It’s no secret I have a strong love for interior design and architecture, so when there’s any opportunity to create something relating to this, I can’t say no. For this bathroom setup, I aimed to improve my workflow between modeling in Blender and then creating the rigid body simulation in Cinema4D. I also wanted to create energy by varying the camera movement
